It is produced from a plant called aeschynomeneaspera. This plant grows wild in marshy areas around the world. Typically, in tropical regions. Each flower is hand rolled, cut and shaped. Sola wood flowers have a silk like texture and lightweight just like a real flower. Silk and faux flowers fade, collect dust and discolor over time not to mention the grittiness of the plastic and fabric.
